Janet was the carer to their late son Barry, and also cared for Bob's late mother who had Alzheimer's. Janet looks after an allotment site and she also helps at a dog training club.
Janet and Bob have been happily married for more than 46 years and have volunteered with their therapy dogs for more than 9 years at Medway Maritime Hospital. Bob was a chartered accountant in practice before retirement.
